IMG_1253

The Panama City Beach Fire Inspections Division oversees permitting services for underground fire mains, hydrant flow tests, and fire suppression systems. We are committed to ensuring your project complies with the Florida Fire Prevention Code, national fire codes, and local safety standards.

What Requires a Permit?
Permits are required for:
• Installing or modifying underground fire mains.
• Adding or replacing fire hydrants.
• Altering connections to sprinkler systems or other suppression systems.
• Any underground work tied to fire protection infrastructure.

Starting work without a permit is prohibited and can result in significant delays, fines, or complications during property transactions or inspections. Ensuring your project is permitted protects your investment, ensures compliance, and promotes safety for the community.
