The Code Enforcement Department is committed to enhancing the quality of life and ensuring public safety in our community by diligently enforcing city codes and ordinances. These regulations are thoughtfully crafted through a meticulous legal process, aimed at fostering a safe and vibrant environment for all. Our Code Enforcement Officers are committed to working in partnership with property owners, business owners, the public, and other city departments to enhance Panama City Beach's reputation as a top tourist destination. They address a variety of issues, including tall grass, illegal dumping, abandoned vehicles, right-of-way signage, and assisting other city departments. Their responsibilities also include addressing unfit/unsafe structures, double red flagsdogs on the beach, unpermitted vending, glass on the beach, sea turtle lighting concerns, foreclosed properties, business licensing, special events, and more. Their aim is to improve your quality of life through education, awareness, and fairness.
