The City of Panama City Beach Examining Board is currently soliciting a volunteer to fill the following vacant seats: Master Gas Fitter, Master Electrician and Civilian. Each term is for three years.

The Examining Board consists of seven members who shall have the powers and duties explained in Article III of the City Code. Board members serve in a voluntary capacity and should be available to meet on a monthly basis. All meetings are advertised and open to the public.

The Master Gas Fitter board member shall be a gas fitter who is engaged in the profession and who holds a valid master gas fitter's certificate in the city.

The Master Electrician board member shall be a master electrician who is engaged in the profession and who holds a valid master electrician's certificate in the city.

The civilian board member shall be a qualified elector in the city, preferably not from the field of general construction or any profession regulated Article III of the City Code.
