NOTICE TO RECEIVE SEALED BIDS
PANAMA CITY BEACH – WWTF INFLUENT PIPING REPLACEMENT – PIPE AND FITTINGS
This solicitation is for the procurement of various sections of piping, valves and fittings for the City’s wastewater treatment facility (WWTF). Piping materials required include but are not limited to approximately 90, 108, 270, 108 and 18 linear feet of 6-, 12-, 30-, 36-, and 48-inch diameter lined ductile iron pipe (BASE BID) and PVC pipe (ALTERNATE BID) and fittings (BASE BID). In addition, approximately 120 linear feet of 12- and 14-inch stainless steel pipe and fittings are required. Bids may be submitted for either ductile iron/plastic (Part 1) pipe and ductile iron fittings and/or stainless steel (Part 2) piping and fittings. Quantities are subject to change. The vendor shall provide all materials specified delivered to the City’s Wastewater Treatment Facility No. 1 at 205 North Gulf Boulevard, Panama City Beach, Florida.
Plans and specifications will be available October 16, 2017 and can be obtained or examined at the City of Panama City Beach Utilities Department at 116 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida 32413. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, with respect to Public Entity Crimes.There will be no cost for Specifications (digital copy only on CD). Partial sets will NOT be issued.
Bids will be received until 2:30 p.m. Central Time, October 31, 2017 at City of Panama City Beach City Hall, 110 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida, 32413 and will be opened and read publicly immediately thereafter. All Bids shall be submitted in an envelope clearly marked “Sealed Bid – Panama City Beach WWTF Influent Piping Replacement- Pipe and Fittings”. The City of Panama City Beach (“City”) reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. All Bids shall be firm (including all material and transportation/delivery prices) for a period of 30 days after opening.
The City shall award the Purchase Order(s) to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s); provided, however, the City reserves the right to award the Purchase Order(s) to a Bidder or combination of Bidders who are not the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder(s) if the City determines in its reasonable discretion that another Bid offers the City a better value based upon the reliability, quality of service, or product of such other bidders.
There will not be a pre-bid conference for this material purchase.
