BAYSIDE WATER & WASTEWATER IMPROVEMENTS

This project includes, but is not limited to, the installation of approximately 330 linear feet of 10-inch PVC water main, 4,675 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water main, 3,735 linear feet of 6-inch PVC water main, 2,075 linear feet of 4-inch PVC water main, 21 fire hydrants, 328 new 1-inch service lines, 9,115 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer main, 44 gravity sewer manholes, 295 new 4-inch sewer laterals, 40 linear feet of 2” force main, 1,360 linear feet of 4” force main, 1,405 linear feet of 6” force main, and 2 wastewater pump stations and all appurtenances. The purpose of this project is to replace the entire subdivision water distribution and sewer collection system.  All roadways impacted by the work are to be repaired and resurfaced.     

The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment and labor to complete the project.

Plans and specifications will be available on Monday, May 16^th, 2016. Plans and specifications can be obtained at Dewberry | Preble-Rish, 203 Aberdeen Parkway, Panama City, Florida  32405, 850.522.0644.  The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, with respect to Public Entity Crimes.

Cost for plans and Specifications will be $350.00 per set and is non-refundable.  Partial sets will NOT be issued.  Checks should be made payable to DEWBERRY | PREBLE-RISH.

Bids will be received until 2:00 PM Central Time, Wednesday, June 15^th, 2016 at the City of Panama City Beach Public Works, 110 S. Arnold Rd, Panama City Beach, Florida and will be opened and publicly read immediately thereafter at the City of Panama City Beach City Hall at 104 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida. All Bids shall be submitted in an envelope clearly marked “Sealed Bid – Panama City Beach – BAYSIDE WATER AND WASTEWATER IMPROVEMENTS.”

A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the Bid shall accompany the Bid.  The City of Panama City Beach (“City”) reserves the right to reject any and all Bids.  All Bids shall be firm (including all labor and material prices) for a period of 90 days after opening. 

All BIDDERs must submit a “Pre-Qualification to Bid” package to DEWBERRY | PREBLE-RISH’S Panama City office at 203 Aberdeen Parkway, Panama City, Florida, by 5:00 p.m. (CST) on May 23^rd, 2016 or e-mail the package to jmajka@dewberry.com. All eligible contractors will be pre-qualified for bidding by 5:00 p.m. (CST) on May 27^th, 2016.

The City shall award the Contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; provided, however, the City reserves the right to award the Contract to a Bidder who is not the lowest responsive and responsible bidder if the City determines in its reasonable discretion that another Bid offers the City a better value based upon the reliability, quality of service, or product of such other Bidder.
