IRONMAN Florida 2025 Traffic Impacts

IRONMAN Florida 2025 will be taking place in Panama City Beach this weekend. Several roadways will be temporarily closed to accommodate the race. Please use caution when traveling in these areas:

  •  THOMAS DRIVE/SOUTH THOMAS DRIVE: Beginning at 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. on Saturday, November 1st, the southernmost eastbound lane of Thomas Drive and South Thomas Drive from Front Beach Road to Joan Avenue.
  • WEST PIER PARK DRIVE: Beginning at 2 a.m. Saturday, November 1st until 4 a.m. Sunday, November 2nd, from Front Beach Road to Pier Park Drive, except for low-speed vehicles, which will have a separate detour provided through Pier Park.
  • SOUTH PIER PARK DRIVE: Beginning at 6 a.m. Monday, October 27th, until noon, Sunday, November 2nd, from Front Beach Road to LC Hilton Jr. Drive.
  • LONGBOARD WAY: Beginning at 6 a.m. Monday, October 27th, until noon, Sunday, November 2nd, from West Pier Park Drive to South Pier Park Drive.
  • SEA MONKEY WAY: Beginning at 6 a.m. Monday, October 27th until noon, Sunday November 2nd, at South Pier Park Drive. 

On Saturday, November 1st, all vehicular traffic on the following portions of state roads shall be rerouted or otherwise controlled as follows:

  • FRONT BEACH ROAD: Beginning at 2 a.m. Saturday, November 1st, until 4 a.m. Sunday, November 2nd, from West Park Drive east to Powell Adams Road; and
  • PANAMA CITY BEACH PARKWAY: Beginning at 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 1st, the external westbound lane of Panama City Beach Parkway from Ashley Drive to the Westward City Limits
