Temporary Closure: Nautilus Street at U.S. 98

Post Date:10/02/2025

FDOT has announced that road construction work will temporarily close Nautilus Street, south of U.S. 98 (Panama City Beach Pkwy) starting Thursday, Oct. 9 through Tuesday, Oct. 14. Construction crews will be installing new drainage pipes beneath the intersection.

Drivers may detour by turning south onto Hills Road and then east onto Front Beach Road. The closure will not impact the U.S. 98 travel lanes. Directional signage will be used to safely direct drivers through the work zone.

All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to use caution, especially at night, when traveling through a work zone and to watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.

For more information about this project, please visit the FDOT Facebook page.
